DAY 1

• registered for workshop; ideaf. group name; genesis 22:12
• met group members; johnloh, kristi, johnchua, johnlow, benjamin, gregory, edward, ee-lin, laura, david, davidseah, phang. notice that most of them are guys.
• ate MNM for icebreaker activity! ahaha.
• played this crossing the river game, where 4 people are supposed to slash you with their swords. i didnt get hit!
• introduction of mass dance! the song; dancing in the moonlight.
• lunch time! in wesley, not in YWCA. ; pasta with chicken
• worship, and camp opening.
• check-in time, new friends, my roommates; danette and esther.
• room was super nice! 3 beds. view of the swimming pool and the city skyline.
• dinner time, in YWCA ballroom, cos of the rain.; rice with sweet and sour fish and egg omelette plus veggies.
• worship, pastor jeremy seaward sermon.
• ZZZZ.....

DAY 2

• woke up, breakfast, provided by YWCA. yumm.; scrambled eggs, fried rice, sausages.
• quiet time with group.
• fear of the lord games. had to go to different stations to play different games. and we made our flag for the next day, war games. thought we won with 90 points, but in the end, we only got 64, ending up in 14th position :x
• lunch time; nasi lemak.
• bath plus siesta time, slept most of the time i think.
• worship.
• dinner time; noodles with chicken.
• worship and speaker session by pastor dave reardon, all the way from aussie.
• pastor dave signed my bible! (:
• sleep time!

DAY 3

• wake up; i missed the scrambled eggs part cos i woke up late. boohoo.
• WAR GAMES! had to collect stuff for the full armour of god. our base was the basement carpark of wesley. johnchua hid the flag somewhere up this wall. damn creepy place. had to play games to earn 'money' and buy the different pieces of the armour.
• lunch time; chicken rice!
• rest time and bath too. had to change into the camp shirt. the camp shirt has a really nice swirly pattern design.
• worship, in wesley hall.
• workshop in level 3 hall; ideaf by david blakely.
• dinner; buffet style.
• worship and sermon by pastor dave reardon then worship again, until 1 am.
• went back to YWCA for our last night in the hotel rooms.

DAY 4

• breakfast, YWCA.
• check out. last glimpse of the room.
• worship and last sermon by pastor dave reardon.
• more and more worship! (:
• testimony and prize giving for best group and best camper.
• end of camp.

well, that's basically camp, in bullet point.

the best thing about camp? the changes that happened, the newfound friends, and the feeling of belongingness in YM. i guess during camp, my wish was fulfilled, because all the other people in my group are older, so they were sort of older bros and sis to me. hahaha..

here's some of the wacky things that happened in camp.

1} people caught smoking?! i think so.
2} visiting of rooms. we visited joyce, cheryl and lyn may's room, and traci was messing up lyn may's bed, lyn may sort of freaked out? hahahaha(:
3} watching asian games, midnight, freaking out because most of the time, singapore swimming, always at the last place.
4} kristi and the barker boys fooling around with the camera during breaktime, when kristi asked the guys to take a picture of her, and they secretly zoomed in, taking only her teeth, then imitating her trademark YUUUCCCK expression. funny.
5} jumping to the fast music during worship, like loonatics. but who cares? we're having FUN.
6} people throwing chicken rice and thrasing the pool, from the 13th floor, giving a VERY GOOD reason. when asked why they threw chicken rice? response; because we like to hear the PIAK sound by the rice! wooots.
7} SCHMOU? expression by pastor dave, trying to say, WHAT in chinese. turned out into an accent.

well, it's just sad that whenever good things happen, i have to leave. like now, that i feel i belong in YM, i have to leave for USA next month. sad thing.

but oh well, i'm glad that i knew those people! (:
